Anyone who has ventured into the City of London on a weekend will know that it can appear to be deserted and that it can feel like you have the whole of the City to yourself - which is naturally great for wedding photography.
Claire and Mark hosted their wedding right in the heart of the City with Claire's preparations at Threadneedles Hotel - a stones throw from the Bank Of England. It was then on to St Lawrence Jewry Church next to the Guildhall for the ceremony. The church has a long history, being one of the most expensive London churches built by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire destoyed the original church. It was fun to see Claire's wedding car (a vintage Austin) approaching the church through the deserted city streets.
After the ceremony (and some group pictures outside in the deserted Guildhall square) it was off to the amazing Skinners Hall for the reception.
Here are a selection of some of the highlights of the day.
